Frequently Asked Questions

Will Dr. Schneider use any drugs or surgical procedures?

No. Chiropractic procedures do not include invasive procedures like surgery or medication. Those methods fall under the heading of medical treatment. Instead, Chiropractic works in harmony with the body's own natural healing properties.

What if I'm pregnant? What if I’ve had spinal surgery?

I’ve has been taking care of patients with a variety of special needs throughout his career, including pregnant and post surgical cases, with very good results. Pregnant patients receive specialized care using chiropractic tables that have been designed with their comfort in mind. Many times pregnant patients suffer needlessly with spinal issues, unaware that there is an effective, safe option for them. The health of their spine affects the health of their developing child, so it makes a lot of sense for “moms to be” to receive Chiropractic care.

What about my children?

The trauma of the delivery process, childhood falls, pranks and athletic injuries are just a few great reasons to have your children checked…even if they are not in any pain. Keeping their spine aligned helps keep them healthy and “off-loads” the spinal stress from activity related injuries. It’s the smart thing to do. Because we’ve been caring for children of all ages for many years, we have a kid friendly office.

What if I have osteoporosis?

Seniors (or individual with "weaker" bones) respond better to procedures that are gentle. Activator is an excellent option.

What if I have been in an automobile accident? We are not currently caring for motor vehicle accident injuries. Our practice is more wellness based than crisis intervention based.

How can I pay for care?

Some patients have health insurance and others don’t. We do participate in a variety of plans. However, some plans, even those that we don’t participate in, may actually have higher out-of-pocket expenses than our normal fees. In those cases, it may be more affordable not using your health insurance (which you have the right to do in the state of North Carolina)!

So, to be absolutely sure about what your costs will be, contact our office and our friendly staff will check on it for you. We have a significant number of patients that don’t have health insurance or have plans that don’t cover Chiropractic care. Most elect to receive care anyway because they find it of great value.

Cost vs.Investment

When you exchange funds for something of equal value, that exchange represents what the item or service COSTS.

When you recieve something of GREATER VALUE in return for what you spent... then it's an INVESTMENT.

Chiropractic is an INVESTMENT. It always delivers  MORE  than what was expected!
